Light it up!  See what lighting your alcohol ink on fire does for the finished effect. This might be something you won’t want to do in your house but in our workshop you will decorate ceramic tiles with alcohol ink then light them on fire to see alcohol inks in a new way.  You will also be using Alcohol Lift Ink, Metallic Paint Pens and Stamps to decorate your tile and then seal your art with Krylon Spray Varnish.  Not recommended for children under 12.

Included Materials

The following supplies will be provided for use in class, with certain items specially prepared for class use.

Ceramic Tiles (2), Rubber Feet for Tiles

Bubble Wrap, Pipette

Students will want to have the following supplies, but have the flexibility to choose specific items from their own stash based on their personal preferences and creative style. If there are any questions about what to bring, they should post a question in the Private Facebook Group or email the instructor. Here's a general list of what’s needed:

Stamps and Stencils from stash, baby wipes and paper towel

Alcohol Inks and Pearls,  Alcohol Lift Ink

Isopropyl Alcohol 90%

Stamp Block, Air Blowing Tool or Straw, Spray Bottle for Rubbing Alcohol

Paint Pens
