We’ve kickstarted you on Christmas cards. We’ve got you set with
Birthdays. Now it’s time to turn our attention to those other occasions that
we honour with handmade cards. Thank You, Get Well, Thinking of You,
Masculine, Sympathy, Wedding/Anniversary and a few others.
Join us for a weekend of learning, making and fun that will get you ready for
all of these milestones. This Occasions Kickstart Card Making Weekend
includes 5 x 2-hour classes, one with each talented store owner (Friday and
Saturday). Together, you’ll make at least one completed project per
session. Written instructions will be provided once the class is over.
PLUS! Sunday will feature demonstrations and bonus projects that you can
make using your kit, items from your stash and additional items that will be
available from each store.
Let’s cross more occasions off our “making” list with the Occasions Kickstart
Weekend. When it’s done, you’ll have so many ideas and easy-to-remake
card projects, you will be ready for any card needs that may arise.
Your Occasions Kickstart Kit will include:
- Yet-to-be released items from Spellbinders, including a beautiful die
set and unique embossing folder
- 15 sheets of paper (8.5”x11”)
of Spellbinders *new* 100lb cardstock in Dahlia, Bellini, Coral,
Tuscan, Rainforest, Breeze, Malibu, Oceanside, Orchid, Violet,
Cosmic Sky, Cranberry and Fern
o One sheet of acetate
o One sheet of vellum
- Hero Arts Stencil “Cobblestone”
- Some pre-cut elements and a gorgeous selection of sentiments
You may be asked to pull neutral coloured cardstock (white, black, brown),
card bases, vellum, acetate, ink and other basics from your stash. Your
Home Store team can help you with these items.
This event will be held in a Private Facebook Group, which allows you to
participate and interact, as well as ask questions and follow along from the
comfort of your home. When the videos are uploaded after the live session,
you can return to watch over and over again, on demand. This also allows
you to take the classes at a pace that is right for you, and at a time that is
convenient to you, once the class is over. You must have a Facebook
account to participate.
