Artful Explorations is an online mixed media art journaling course that emphasizes various approaches and techniques for artistic expression and exploration. Each month, either Nancy or Julia will create a page in their art journal, sharing their personal approach to a product or technique. Students are encouraged to personalize their pages and use their own supplies as they follow along. Kits will not be provided. During the live classes, students can interact and ask questions about the process and products. The class videos will be available for students to revisit in a Private Facebook Group after the session. Materials and supplies for each class will be listed in a handout provided for each session, with suggestions for substitute items wherever possible. Students are welcome to use the live class as a preview and then rewatch it as many times as they like. This flexibility allows you to wait until after the class to decide on purchasing any materials or items. Artful Explorations will be informative for those new to art journaling and inspirational for those who have been art journaling for some time.Â
