This class was very popular so we are running it again! In this Basics 101 class about collage sheets, Sharlene will guide you through creating a Tracy Scott inspired collage painted background sheet. Making these layered painty backgrounds is a basic mixed media technique that artists use over and over again. Once you know how to make one you will want to make a pile of them because they use so many techniques that are fun about mixed media - stamping, painting, doodling, splattering and more.
Students are encouraged to bring their own Paper Artsy acrylic paints, Tracy Scott (or other) Mixed Media Mark Making stamps and stencils so they can customize and personalize their creations. Sharlene will also have plenty for sharing and experimenting if you want to try before you buy.
